| In a flash of absurdity today... The European Union's highest court has ruled that feta cheese is a traditional Greek product that deserves protection throughout the 25-nation block. As a result, non-Greek European feta producers will not be allowed to call their product "feta." With this ruling one could now begin to predict many new cultural food protections coming down the line, all based on this kind of multiculturalist mentality.... when I heard this all I could do was say wow that is stupid. | ||
