| In the wake of the supreme court ruling New London's private Development Committee moves ahead with it's plans to forcibly evict residents, confiscate their property, and have the New London residents subsidize a private enterprise. This all stands in stark contrast to New Orleans, where even the threat of death from starvation, disease, and dehydration are not enough to get the LO government to forcibly remove residents.
