Welcome to SOLO Parenting!
Objectivist literature does not have much to say about being a parent, or why anyone would want to be. Rand's fiction had no significant portrayal of parenting. And yet this aspect of life is of overwhelming significance to many people, including those that have had children, and those who are considering it.
SOLO Parenting is created to give a forum for these thoughts and discussions. It is a place to share ideas and learn from others. As a part of an Objectivist site, it is a place to discuss the role of philosophy in parenting and the ethical principles involved.
Everyone is welcome. You need not be a parent to discuss and learn.
