And join the ranks of the Mormons Jehovah's Witnesses and other door to door bible bashers? I would be very careful here, nothing turns off people faster than a zealot banging on about a certain issue. If the other person seems interested talk to them, but be careful.

It depends on the conversation. If somebody is asking my opinion on the government's tax policy, then I will speak my mind and draw upon objectivist principles in order to justify my position.

As an example, a cashier at the supermarket this afternoon asked me if I thought that Social Security will be around when she retires. I said, "I certainly hope not. Why should the government rob me to finance your retirement? Isn't the money I earn my private property?"

She was quiet for a few seconds, but then she said, "I hadn't thought of it like that. Where did you get that idea?" I just said, "Buy a copy of Atlas Shrugged."

I like to admire success in people, if I have the chance I will offer my position in hopes that it will be benificial.
