I don't generally swear in public but,

Bloody, god-damned, flame-ass, freaking brilliant.  Man, how I love innovative engineers.

The joy that comes from seeing the simplicity of genius and the persistence of the innovator is as great as any novel or symphony in history.

"Ain't broke, don't fix it" be damned. I second Jeff's swearing.

Thanks, Adam. I would have never seen this article. Sometimes when I'm tired of reading about the stupidity or sloth given display in the news, I buy a copy of Popular Science or Popular Mechanics and read the latest new ideas from the inventors.

Mr. Coates,

www.slashdot.org is a good list of current technical doings also. Just don't visit the forums, unfortunately there is a lot of bad "reason" in them.

Donald,
Thanks for the reminder about Slashdot. I find this slightly more readable http://www.sciencedaily.com/, and without the (to me personally) annoying focus on IT related material. (Bad head juju from too many soul destroying personal experiences. Not meant as a condemnation of the subject.)

Thanks

Jeff
