In my New Zealand we have 11 sheep for every person, that is, 44 million of the little buggers. I can't fathom why we should want to make them smarter. All we need them to do is eat and, well, just eat.

I'd be keen to do a comparison between a flock of sheep and a thicket of socialists. I already know which group is more valuable.

Instead of testing the sheep in the maze, and then using genetics to identify which genes are desirable, and then picking sheep with those genes to breed...

How about we just mark the sheep that do what we want, and then only breed the marked ones? : )
