| | Slanderous persons are usually envious of those whom they slander and wish to act unkindly toward them; they do not speak well of those who deserve it but attempt to find something that may be true about those persons but will debase them, thus offsetting any good said in their favor; or they may simply promote lies, and so are often dishonest and libelous. Slanderous persons will say one thing to the person's face but another behind their back. Kant suggest that we should act positively against slander, silencing it when it happens and softening the fault of others. Your comments please.
