By the way, is katdaddy your real name?

It is a nickname in real life. I didn't make it up. I once worked in a small office with five Davids and a tradition was started where everyone got a nickname and it was programmed into their telephones, emails, etc. Anyway one of the college kids who was working under me dubbed me katdaddy, and it stuck. I've been katdaddy for about 10 years now and even have made a cartoon character by illustrating my real name, Kathy Wheeler. It is a biker kat.

Ok, we seem to be mixing up the threads here (the repent thread for one). I may not be a real writer (see the writing thread) but I meant "startling" because I feel at home with intensity...didn't Robert talk about aesthetic appreciation and part of that is coming from the perspective of the viewer? (Another thread somewhere here). And about George being "humble" doesn't that belong on the other thread about arrogance!?

George: No, and I hope it's just a fluke or a mild feature of this photo because I really dislike Jeremy Irons' face! Too hard.

By the way, all posts concerning the member photos quickly become meaningless, because any new photo immediately replaces all the old ones here at SOLO. I do wish this feature was improved, but it may involve extensive rewriting of the program code.

No one should assume they are looking at any member photo being discussed on this board, if the discussion is more than a month old.
