A "Thank you!" to SOLO slaves Jeff and Joe, as apparently they've gotten caught up with photo posting - I see several new photos under people's names in the forums.

If those people just sent in their photos, then thanks for getting them up/changed so quickly.  And for keeping this site running!!

Jason

Wow, it's startling to see suddenly so many familiar faces...no....new faces under familiar names... Hi there!

Thank you Jeff and Joe for finally putting my picture up. I was starting to feel that you guys wanted a different one, but, as Joe stated much earlier about FTPing, you were overworked.

Also, Jon's problem with peeing must have taken much longer than expected.

Thanks again.

Michael

A big super-sized thanks from me too. I've been waiting patiently, holding my breath far too long. (definitely worth the wait, though)

Its great to see my other friends too.... hi, John!

Ah, what better way to renounce your internet anonymity than to have the only photo available online to show: your driver's license photo.

As Dean said, it is great to be able to visualize the person you are writing to. I hope this trend continues.

Where's the troll?  Oh, I almost forgot they are like vampires and can't be photographed.

I have commented on THIS OUTRAGEOUS INVASION OF MY PRIVACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on the "Raimondo" thread.

I wish to morally repudiate someone for this.

Suffice it to say that, as a retaliatory use of force, I have emailed to Joe a fresh representation of Bidinotto's visage that's no longer woefully out of date.

Well, Stephen, your driver's license photo looks a lot better than some I've seen - including my own!

Hi Robert.  I've never replied to a post of your before, but I wanted to tell you that I love your beard!!  I wish more men had full beards like the one in your link.  There is something so masculine about them.  I've been trying to get my husband David to grow one, but I don't think it's sinking in.

Oh Kelly, you and your obsession with masculinity.  I don't think most men look good in beards (though some definitely do), but I will resist the urge to morally repudiate you for this fact.  And if you make David shave one I may sneak into your house at night and shave it off.
:-P

I would like to take this moment to morally repudiate Jason Dixon.

No, he has never done anything for me to take offence to. Nor would any of his past statements, articles, or behavior lead one to conclude that he has earned this repudiation.

Nevertheless, it is past time that we all morally repudiate him.

You see Jason, on Solo *everyone* must take their turn at being morally repudiated. All of the regulars here have had their turn, don't think yourself so important as to be above such a thing.

So, today - it's your turn!

Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages - I present to you Jason Dixon, a truly reprehensible man, worthy of our deepest and most sincere repudiation.

We salute you (as Solo regulars read this - they stand and turn their backs to their computers, glance over their shoulders - read your name - and deliver a profanity towards the screen).

** This now concludes today's regularly scheduled repudiation.

Thank you, Kelly. I take my beard as a moral responsibility: It's so important for SOMEONE to maintain the masculine ideal here.

George, repudiations are pretty pallid. When do we get to some blood-and-thunder excommunications? They make me feel all warm inside.

Yes those would be wonderful!

But excommunications are unfairly the sole provice of the organizations top dogs - in this case, Linz and Joe Rowlands. We are only subject to them, we cannot enforce them ourselves.

But it would be nice to see one!

I can think of no one  more worthy and desearving of excommunication than Robert Bidinotto!

For anyone that doubts that my choice is the correct one, I point to exhibit A as evidence: Bidinotto's blog .

The prosecution rest.

Maybe that's what's happening--he's growing one, but it's sinking in. :-)

I once grew one, but it made me look less masculine!
